Monday 10th of July

Seattle here we are.

Got off the flight and into the baggage area. It is the waiting area aswell. So anyone can jus walking into the airport and pick up your bags.

Gary was there waiting for us. Took ages to get our bags. Loaded up the car and off we went. Gary only lives about 20 mins from airport. Got to see our first glimps of Seattle, the skyline of Seattle.

In the door of Gary place. Given the auld guided tour.Two double beds in his room. Heaven for us, as sleeping on a sofa wasn't doing anything for my back.

Quick tidy up of ourselves and back out the door to a Irish Bar called Fado. Met up with a few of Gary's work mates. All really nice and made us feel really welcomed. We got lovely food in the bar. Drank too many drinks. A mixture of drinks is not good and then a load of shots. We then went around the corner to another Irish bar. This one is called Irish Pub. A few more drinks in there and then kicked out of the place. Into a taxi and back home. Garys upstairs flat mate was awake so we went up to say hi. Had a better view of the city from his balcony. amasing the view of the lights.

Came back down.Me i flaked out on the bed. Out for the count in secounds.

Mary and Karen are on a get fit buzz at the moment. They tried out the exercise ball and did a couple of skips on the skipping rope. Gary beat Karen up with the sofa cushions. Then he struggled to get the pillow case onto his pillow.

Mary also felt that it would be funny to jump and do inappropriate things to poor Elaine while she was dead to the world. see pics for reference.

we will be heading to perth soon after we get to oz. may see sydney for a week or so then head over. so should be around there. will talk more nearer to the time. xxx
